Creative Cauldron Awarded Grant from the Arts Council of Fairfax County
Falls Church, VA Creative Cauldron has received a 2018 Arts Council of Fairfax County Operating Support grant in the amount of $26,584.99. Operating Support grants provide funds for the basic operation of arts organizations in Fairfax County in recognition of the valuable programs and services they provide to County residents.
Laura Connors Hull, Founder and Producing Director of Creative Cauldron, has this to say about the grant award. “The continued support that we receive from the Arts Council of Fairfax County is critical to our ability to provide affordable opportunities in learning, participation and enjoyment of the arts for the community. This grant will also help us support the experienced professionals from the disciplines of theater, dance, music and visual arts who serve as our teaching artists, directors, designers and performers.”

Creative Cauldron is a non-profit arts organization dedicated to providing affordable, enriching, and diverse experiences in the performing and visual arts to Northern Virginia and the greater Washington, DC community. Creative Cauldron gives people of all ages, incomes and backgrounds opportunities to connect and grow through the arts. We create original productions, present a broad array of art and artists and offer transformative educational programs in an intimate and collaborative atmosphere. Creative Cauldron has produced 13 Helen Hayes Awards© Recommended productions, 11 Helen Hayes Awards© Nominated productions and 3 productions have won Helen Hayes Awards© since acquiring our permanent home in ArtSpace Falls Church in 2009. Creative Cauldron programs are funded in part by grants from the Arts Council of Fairfax County, Virginia Commission for the Arts, National Endowment for the Arts, the City of Falls Church and the Little City Catch Foundation. Creative Cauldron also receives generous support from individuals and corporations.
