The Learning Theater Ensemble
And introducing Learning Theater Young Professionals for teens. Learn more.

The Learning Theater Ensemble is an inclusive multi-generational program that provides area youth the opportunity to team up with our professional actors and directors to learn the craft of acting.  Up to 25 students participate in the Learning Theater Ensemble workshops in which they spend 8 weeks with our artists creating a professional quality original production as part of our regular season.  In post, with special effects, editing, professional music recordings, this collaborative project becomes and actual movie.

Are you a teenager who has done The Learning Theater program? Then join our new Learning Theater Young Professionals Ensemble.

Because of the larger commitment of this project, enrollees must have prior Creative Cauldron performance experience, via classes or camps. Not sure? Ask us at info@creativecauldron.org

To get a better idea about the time commitment involved, please review the provided timing closely, and bear in mind that we will be creating an updated schedule once we have enrollment, and that we will need some additional filming on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

What about costumes?  Scenic and costume designer Margie Jervis will create a costume for all actors, and we will arrange a zero-contact pick up.

I've been doing Learning Theater for a while, but I think I'm too old. Not true! We will develop a role appropriate to everyone's age and needs. Older students who want more of a challenge can take the Learning Theater Young Professionals--roles for ages 14-up that involve more featured roles, vocal coaching, and featured roles.

Is this really all online? NO! These are fun, interactive online sessions blended with safe distanced filming

How will you keep actors safe when filming outside? All filming is outdoors and social distanced, and the crew is masked at all times. Actors are edited into the same scene via movie magic, and are never to perform in the same space/unmasked.

Check out Cinderella's Dream to see how we did on our very first project, and stay tuned for The Brothers Grimm Movie.
