Planet Art - Painting Winter into Spring
Join Margie Jervis, Creative Cauldron's Scene and Costume Designer, for a hands-on art making class. We will explore the seasons and climates of the world and how that can inspire and feed our creativity for designs and abstract art. The black and white worlds of eternal polar winter offers learning to create strong compositions. As we move toward Spring in the temperate zones, color begins to take over! It all happens on zoom with visual presentations, time to work together and weekly projects for experimenting on your own. We form a community sharing discoveries throughout the session.
Class is for all levels- from the novice to the experienced artist looking for a new approach. Art Supplies to have on hand: White printer paper 8.5x11, Canson XL multimedia paper 11x14, Black sharpie permanent marker, watercolor set (Paul Rubens student set of 24 colors full pans is a good one ) , basic set of acrylic paints - suggest Shuttle Art Acrylic Paint, 18 colors Acrylic paint pouches (4.06oz size), Assorted Brushes, white glue, tape, scissors |
