​LEARNING THEATRE ENSEMBLE
(​Tales from the Brothers Grimm)
SATURDAYS 10 AM - 12 NOON

8 - 14 Year olds

BY INVITATION OR AUDITION
The Learning Theater Ensemble is an inclusive multi-generational program that provides area youth the opportunity to team up with our professional actors and directors to learn the craft of acting.  Up to 25 students may participate in the Learning Theater Ensemble.   Over the course of  8- 10  weeks our professional teaching artists will work with ensemble members to create a professional quality original production,  featuring  original music and songs written by our Resident Composer Matt Conner.  Adult professional actors are also cast in these productions and serve as mentors for our young theater artists.
Rehearsals for an original production of "Tales from the Brothers Grimm" will happen in small groups over Zoom, and the final production will be professionally filmed OUTDOORS.  The final edited production will be available for viewing through our Youtube Channel for patrons and friends.  To audition or receive an invitation contact Producing Director Laura Connors Hull at [email protected].  COST:  $575


​Love acting, but want some more experience? Learning Theater Studio on Mondays is the class for 9-12 and Learning Theater Jr for 6-8 yr olds who want to get ready for the stage.

TEACHING ARTIST MATT CONNER

Explore the world of acting through a small studio class that will help you learn the basics while preparing for a final recorded performance on the final class. Learn how to overcome stage fright and get more comfortable in front of people.  Learn how to create characters, memorize dialogue, and use your voice, body and emotions as acting tools.
