Join us for a final concert weekend of the world in our intimate cabaret space, with a diverse musical line up specially curated by Ken Avis and Lynn Veronneau of the WAMMY Award-winning jazz samba group Veronneau. With Project Locrea, the Dave Kline Band, and the Alex Martin Band, this final goodbye to our spring concert series is not one to miss!

Dave Kline Band The Dave Kline Band is creating a very special show for the Passport to the World Series. Chao Tien, acclaimed Chinese dulcimer player joins Dave on violin and guitar, Deepak Shenoy on Indian tabla and percussion, including Indian rhythmic scat singing, and the always fabulous Lynn Veronneau on vocals and Ken Avis on guitar and vocals. Saturday, March 12 at 7:30 pm "Local Cream" Songwriter Showcase
An evening of stories and song with four of the DC area's finest songwriters. All are multi-award-winning writers and performers whose music ranges from Texas-bred Americana to confessional Indie folk/pop. Annette Wasilik's debut CD, Songs from the Talking House won the WAMMIE for Contemporary Recording of the Year in 2016. Her second release Love & Fire landed #1 and #6 on the NACC and Folk DJ charts and came in at #40 for 2020. Two songs from this album, The World is on Fire and Almost were named #1 and #2 songs of 2020 by two national DJs. |
Kerville winner, Tom Prasada-Rao is a prolific songwriter and known and loved around the world. His songs are straight shooting, intimate, topical and tinged golden by his rich and soulful voice. His incredible song, $20 Bill, written for George Floyd can be heard here. Nicole Belanus has released six recordings of original songs and has won national recognition for them and her soaring vocals. Her warm performing style and self-deprecating humor belie a wide range of versatility and musicality. Texas born Kevin Dudley has won top honors in the MidAtlantic Song Contest several times, is an American Songwriter Lyrics winner and has placed his songs in major motion pictures. He performs regularly with his roots band The Snake Farmers and with his Americana trio, Crooked Sparrow.
