"Kaleidoscope wins on all counts!" - Jeffrey Walker, DC Theatre Scene
"Florence Lacey gives a memorable and truthful performance... poignant and real, with hints of raw laughter and joy where least expected." - Julia Exline, DC Metro Theater Arts
"With a powerful soprano voice and a sensitive rendering of the character’s struggles, Lacey takes the audience on an extraordinary journey of hope and remembrance." - Jeannette Mulherin, MD Theatre Guide
"Florence Lacey has it all in spades... this performance is a tour de force like no other role I have seen her in." - Sara Dudley Brown, The Zebra

"Lacey portrays a star losing her mind even as she barnstorms the country in her one-person stage memoir. Her depiction of accelerating mental erosion is as exquisitely measured as her silvery singing.
Conner’s music has a romantic strain limned with melancholy; waltzes surge and evolve..... The show’s delicacy, in the score and in Lacey’s perceptive performance, is an asset." - Nelson Pressley, The Washington Post "The play is beautiful and beautifully executed, with Florence Lacey commanding the lead role with a powerful and moving rendition of Evelyn Thorne" - Nick Benton, The Falls Church News-Press
