Shift your perspective and discover the hidden masterpieces of the natural world with a class on Zoom presented by Creative Cauldron Stage. Led by Margie Jervis, Creative Cauldron's Resident Designer, this 8-week virtual course dives deep into the "microscopic" patterns and shapes that form the foundation of our planet.

This class is for ALL levels. Whether you are a seasoned artist or a curious beginner, you'll enjoy a "free-ranging spirit of exploration" as we bridge the gap between science, culture, and fine art.
  • Weekly Inspiration: Each session begins with an inspiring slide presentation connecting scientific imagery to design.
  • Hands-On Creativity: Each week there is a guided art project, translating microscopic inspiration into your original tangible art on paper.

Materials List:
The Essentials: 
Paper: Mixed media paper (Canson XL 11x14) or heavy watercolor paper.
Brushes: A basic set of watercolor brushes (fine/small to medium). A fancy set is not needed as many low cost sets are sold at craft supply stores.
Paint: Paul Rubens Student Watercolor Set (24 Colors)
