Position Overview:
Creative Cauldron is seeking a creative, organized and driven Marketing & Communications Manager to lead all aspects of marketing, communications, and branding for our theater.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute seasonal and show-specific marketing plans
- Manage marketing budget and track campaign performance
- Plan and implement digital and print advertising across platforms
- Promote events via online calendars, postcards, and partner organizations
- Coordinate tabling and promotional presence at festivals and community events
- Oversee production-specific campaigns and manage mailing lists for targeted outreach
- Maintain and update the organization’s website and social media platforms
- Write and distribute press releases, newsletters, and targeted email campaigns
- Create video and photo content for marketing, education, and grant-related purposes
- Design printed and digital collateral including flyers, posters, and programs
- Monitor and analyze ticket sales data
- Facilitate group sales and build partnerships with local organizations
- Respond to ticket inquiries and troubleshoot issues
- Manage discount and comp ticket initiatives
- Coordinate outreach to industry professionals and underserved communities
- Support audience development and special event participation
- Other duties as assigned
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or public relations, preferably within the performing arts or nonprofit sector
- Experience in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive audience growth, ticket sales, and community engagement
- Strong written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for audiences across platforms
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including email marketing software, design systems and social media management tools
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks effectively, ensuring timely and high-quality completion
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact respectfully and effectively with patrons of varied backgrounds, ethnicities, and socio-economic statuses
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Passion for arts and community engagement highly desired
