JEFF SMITH
has
been a musician since his mid teens, starting out with the drums and
learning other instruments as needed by whatever the band he was in at
the time. The songs on his debut album, The Human Wilderness produced
by Jeff Juliano (John Mayer/Dave Matthews), conjure up images of coal
barges on the Ohio; rusted out cars swallowed up by vines , and the
dreams and fears of its sons and daughters who move on to the big
cities. Las Vegas Music Scene magazine wrote,"The Human Wilderness is
as welcome as a roadside diner on a lonely highway. These heartfelt
songs about life in small town USA are true masterpieces of American
music.'" Recently signed to Heavy Hitters Music Group in LA, Jeff was
their featured artist for the month of February 2011 and had the good
fortune of having his song "You," placed in an episode of the Young and
Restless.
