Laura Connors Hull - Producing Director / Camp Director
Laura began her three-decade long theater career teaching drama to young children and adults in Northeastern Ohio. She gained
critical recognition as a teacher and director and founded G.B. Repertory Theater, an acting ensemble that enjoyed significant community and
corporate support. Laura spent 11 years working in public relations and marketing at Arena Stage and served as Director of
Communications, before she decided to launch Creative Cauldron.
Matt
Conner, Theater Artist
Matt is a talented veteran of Washington Area stages who
received his musical theater training at Shenandoah University.
His triple talent as a singer, dancer
and actor has won him featured roles at Source Theater, Synetic Theater, West
End and Toby's Dinner Theaters. Matt has been playing piano and composing music
since he was a young child, and has a wonderful
wellspring of creative ideas to explore with children and adults.
Eileen Levy - Visual Artist
Eileen's creativity draws from a lifetime's experience working
as a visual artist, teacher, performer and writer. In her native
England, she studied visual arts at The London College of Art & Design
and drama at the Unity Theatre in London. She
taught visual arts in the Rochester, NY public schools for
20 years and won "Best of Show" in juried art exhibits.
Oran Sandel, Theater Artist
As a 23-year veteran and former Artistic Director of the Living
Stage Theatre, an educational outreach company of Arena Stage, Oran received
national recognition working with at-risk youth and disenfranchised adults.
A versatile and dynamic artist on the Washington area theater scene since
1975, he currently works as a freelance consultant, teacher, writer,
director, and performer at venues such as The Shakespeare Theater, Horizons
Theater, The Washington Revels and the Library of Congress. Oran lives
his belief that "everyone is an artist and the greatest power to
transform our lives comes through our ability to imagine."
Suzanne Summers - Visual Artist
Trained in fine arts at the Rhode Island School of Design, where she received a BFA in Painting, Suzanne went on to earn an MA in Museum
Studies at The George Washington University. Extending her love of art to the field of musuems and galleries, Suzanne worked in
art preservation and exhibit design and launched educational programs for all ages to coincide with exhibits.
This experienced faculty will be further expanded by young professionals
currently pursuing a performing arts degree & specialists from a variety
of arts disciplines. They will be joined by area naturalists
and environmental educators from the Audubon Society, Fairfax
County Regional Park Authority,
and the Clean Fairfax Council.
