The art of improvisation is one we all practice every day. This class, led by veteran theater artist Oran Sandel, is offered as a way to add layers of mindfulness
and technique to that practice, in order to enrich and elevate your quality of life.
Through improvisational theater experiences for the mind, body, voice and imagination,workshop participants can expect to:
• Improve observation and listening skills • Strengthen verbal ability • Explore and develop physical expressiveness • Increase self-confidence in presentations and interaction • Refine impulses and intuition • Deepen understanding of the role imagination and creativity can play in improving the quality of life • Satisfy the need for playfulness in work and relationships
While many students finish these classes with a new desire to explore theater and performance, this is not by any means the only desired outcome of the class.
Each individual will find her or his own point of entry into this experience and come away with a uniquely personal interpretation of the philosophy and methodology.
