		Arts Adventure Camp Now in its 7th year, Creative Cauldron's Arts Adventure Camp combines the performing and visual arts with an exploration of the great outdoors. Each three-week session has a nature-based theme and culminates in an original lunchtime performance for the public.  This year's performances will be held at the Lubber Run Amphitheater in Arlington, VA. Each day begins and ends at the Center for Spiritual Enlightenment at 222 North Washington Street, Falls Church.  Campers work with an amazing group of professional teaching artists (see our Artistic Circle) who guide them through activities in drama, music, dance and visual art. Campers explore the natural world through daily treks to local and regional parks that include visits with naturalists and environmental educators. They also enjoy afternoon swims at the Sleepy Hollow Recreation Association Pool. 2008 Camp Themes "What's That Rumbling Up Above: Tales of Thunder, Tales of Wonder"    July 7 through 25  SOLD OUT!!! Is it Thor’s hammer… the footsteps of a giant?.....the angry outburst of an ancient Mayan god?... or the beating wings of the great thunderbird of Native American lore?  From the beginning of time, human imagination has conjured up a multitude of explanations for those percussive concerts in the sky. Come explore what scientists know about this amazing natural phenomena, and have some fun with your own creative myth-making too! "From the Seeds of Imagination: Magical, Mythical Plants"    July 28 through August 15 Potent herbs that bring immortality, giant beanstalks that grow from a single bean, magical fruit that casts a spell when it is eaten. Since the beginning of time, plants have provided man with food, shelter, clothing, healing and--- abundant seeds for magical stories. Learn the secrets of our green and growing world this session as you travel the globe and enter an amazing garden of imagination and discovery. Enrollment fees per 3-week session: Full Day (9:00 am to 3:30 pm)  $700 Full Day for Creative Caudron Donors ($50 & above)  $680          Half Day Option (9:00 am to 12 noon for 4 & 5 yr olds) $375 Half Day for Creative Cauldron Donors ($50 & above)  $355 Before Care from 8:00 am ($25 per week) After Care till 5:30 pm ($35 per week) Scholarship assistance available for those with financial need.
